What is SOC 2 Type II?

SOC refers to the Systems and Organization Controls standards defined by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). SOC 2 Type II is a comprehensive certification demonstrating a company’s ability to securely manage and protect sensitive customer and client data over an extended period.
